From the Chalmers family and brought to you by the grape varieties lambrusco maestri and lagrein off the Chalmers Heathcote vineyard. Exotic, but clever combo for rose. New label now (no picture, but hey). Rose water, rose hip tea, mixed citrus peel, pot pourri. Lovely perfume to open the proceedings. Juicy and crisp in the palate showing a fine offering of rose water and cranberry drink with a chalky-lemony finish. It’s a very simple wine, clean cut, a bit underwhelming in personality, but does absolutely the trick of pale pink wine refreshment.
