Am I locked in for good? Can I change my plan easily?
Not at all! You can pause, skip, or stop your plan anytime – no strings attached.
What if I don’t like some of the wines in my pack?
We understand – everyone’s tastes are different. That’s why we offer our Taste Guarantee: if a wine doesn’t meet your expectations, contact us for next steps. You can learn more about our returns and refunds policy - here.
If I don’t like a type of wine, can I choose something else?
At the moment, we don’t offer customisation based on personal preferences. However, our incredible Private Wine Advisor team is on hand to help you find and create a custom box. Keep an eye out for future wine plans, where you’ll have even more control over what wines you receive.
How will I know when my next wine plan is due?
We’ll keep you in the loop at every step – from payment dates to dispatch and delivery updates. With Collective Reserve, there are no surprises.
Can I buy the wines I’ve liked individually?
Absolutely! While we can’t guarantee every wine will be available for individual purchase, we try to keep some in stock for customers eager to order more.
Do I receive tasting notes and information about each wine in my pack?
Yes. Each Collective Reserve pack comes with digital tasting notes, including drinking windows, food pairings, and winemaker insights for every wine.
When will there be more options?
Very soon! With nearly 70 years of wine plan experience and thousands of happy customers, The Wine Collective will roll out more Collective Reserve plans over the coming months. Expect more choice, diverse price ranges, and the exciting option to select only the wines you want to receive.
Why can't I see my wine subscription plans online anymore? Are there different types of plans now?
We recently updated our system, and now there are two types of wine plans: legacy plans (your original subscription) and new plans. Legacy plans are from our previous system and are not visible in the online portal. However, they are still active, and we're happy to assist you with any updates or questions regarding them. If you’d like to switch to one of our new plans, or need help managing your legacy plan, please contact our customer service team.
If I order a subscription product with free shipping and a standard product, how much shipping do I pay?
Free shipping applies to the entire order which includes the subscription & standard product.
When will you next charge my credit card? Will I be kept in the loop?
Immediately at time of order for the cost of your first subscription. Subsequent payments will be charged within 1 week of your next dispatch date.
How do you safely store my credit card details?
Customer payment information is stored securely by Shopify.
Our checkouts are fully hosted by Shopify, one of the largest providers of e-commerce solutions, powering more than 4.4m sites globally, from small solo businesses to large, well known brands. Customer credit data entered on Shopify’s platforms is not accessible in any way to The Wine Collective.

How can I self-manage my subscription including updating my credit card details or shipping information?
We sent you an email shortly after you purchased your subscription from customers@subscription.thewinecollective.com.au - from this email you can follow the ‘Manage Subscription’ - from here you can update your delivery details, credit card details, skip, pause or cancel your subscription.
If I subscribe, when will I receive my gift card?
If you subscribe to a Collective Reserve wine pack that includes a gift card, it will be emailed to the address used to purchase the subscription when your order is dispatched. Be sure to check your inbox!
