In 1936, 3 years after the repeal of prohibition, Thompson Willett founded the Willett Distillery, with the first barrel going into storage the following year. Today the tradition continues, with the Willett Family producing handcrafted Kentucky Straight Bourbon using time honoured methods in the art of distillation. They use only limestone-filtered spring water, carefully selected grains and secret strains of yeast to perfect the mash, which is then distilled in the original copper pot-still.
