For over 175 years, the Barossa Valley has been home to some of the most legendary winemakers in the world. Settled by European pioneers in the 1840s, this region has preserved its traditions, culture, and, most importantly, some of the oldest producing Shiraz vines on the planet. These ancient vines, some dating back to the 1840’s, are the backbone of the big, bold, and complex Shiraz the Barossa is famous for.
