Of all the pinot noirs in the Quealy stable, this needs more time to find its groove. Don’t get me wrong, it’s humming a fine tune, but it’s so youthful and vibrant, showing off its heady aromas and cherry accents, root vegetables and cured meats. Time will allow more depth and calmness. The plentiful tannins and acidity will ensure a smooth, long ride. Totally understandable if you find this captivating now. I did.
