VINTAGE
WRATTONBULLY: An early frost event at
Wrattonbully led to reduced yields. A late season
heat event ramped up the ripening process.
Whites from the 2024 season expressed rich and
ripe fruits - Chardonnay and Pinot Gris are
vibrantly perfumed and beautifully fruit-driven.
The reduced red yields have led to wines that are
widely regarded as exceptional.
ORANGE:A very minor frost event during the
early phase of fruit-set acted as an early thinning
of the crops. Fortunately this was not detrimental
to the quality of fruit as it matured, and in fact
allowed the vines to direct their nutrients to a
smaller overall bunch count. Quickly followed by
warmer Summer conditions, the resulting fruit
showed finesse and focus, with complex flavours.
Cooler overnight temperatures at our high-
altitude site allowed the grapes to retain balanced
natural acidity as they matured.

WINEMAKING
Individual blocks were harvested separately and
were pressed on arrival to the winery. The
resulting juice was cold settled and racked off
solids before being inoculated for ferment. Once
inoculated the juice was put to French oak
puncheons to finish ferment. Left on yeast lees for
8 months, the resulting wines were then blended
and prepared for bottling.
