Northern Barossa shiraz from the subregion of Moppa, matured in French oak for 24 months. Deep crimson/magenta. Deep blackberry, plum and black cherry fruits with hints of clove, dark chocolate, brandied fruits, Christmas cake, olive tapenade, pepper and earth. Lovely fine, compact tannin heft, impressive fruit density and a cassis-rich flow on spicy fruit on the finish.
