Made from 85% Garganega with the balance Trebbiano di Soave, this opens with a soft, suave perfume of honey, peach iced tea and rose water, before moving into notes of green pear, green apple and mandarin pulp, underpinned by subtle bitter nuances of lemon rind and green almond. The palate has lovely flow and textural softness, carrying flavours of white peach, pear, green apple, almond, lemon peel, lemon oil and wet stone. It glides effortlessly through the mouth before green almond bitterness and cleansing acidity bring shape and freshness to the finish. A lovely wine that shows varietal truth, balance and drinkability at a very friendly price point. Nicely done.
