Cassandra Charlick - Decanter

Seven years on lees and restrained oak handling have assisted in crafting a supremely elegant, finely textured, blush-hued sparkling wine. I tasted this twice in a fortnight, and both times it impressed. Soft red berries, heady musk stick, dusky florals and a sophisticated prettiness. A quartz-like minerality runs across an upright backbone with multitudinal blousy layers over the top. Hints of flint, barberry and purple spice. Opulent but not overt. Chic, stylish and captivating.

Angus Hughson - Vinous

After seven years on tirage, the 2017 Vintage Rosé is delightful, with bright, silky layers of strawberry and rose petals and a touch of cream. Beautifully balanced, with more savoury French pastry aromas on the nose, the palate is precise and focused while retaining a silky texture. Subtle, nutty nuances are just starting to build over a long finish. Surprisingly still young, this should build beautifully in time.
