A runner up in the 2025 Best in Collective Chardonnay taste off. Delicious Hunter Valley Chardonnay, with peaches and cream along with a wonderfully rich palate.
Grown in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country, this Chardonnay is low-yielding, meaning we get an excellent concentration of fruit flavours. This Chardonnay is whole bunch pressed and fermented in a mix of new and one year old large format French oak. With occasional stirring on the lees, we get a lovely creamy character with toasty oak characters. The perfect partner to the white peach and citrus blossom notes. Ideal for enjoyment now or careful cellaring for up to 5 years.

Beautifully composed and expressed, the bouquet presents white-fleshed peach, rockmelon, citrus peel, and nougat characters, leading to a succulent palate with a creamy mouthfeel. Well supported by bright acidity, finishing persistent and delectable.

Lots of ripe peach, reminds me of summer. A creamy, rich palate that goes on and on. Great balance of fruit, oak and acidity. A wonderful package.
