Philip Rich - Halliday Wine Companion
24-year-old MV6 vines. 50/50% whole berries/whole bunches. A bright crimson. Subtle and complex aromas of forest fruits and hedgerow together with some spice and ferrous notes. Medium bodied, this energetic wine fills out nicely across the palate with ripe, juicy tannins and bright acidity keeping this energetic and fresh.

Erin Larkin - Robert Parker Wine Advocate
The 2024 Paul's Lane Pinot Noir is spicy and red-fruited, supple and elegant, with balance between the flavorsome fruit and the resolved/supple tannins through the middle palate and finish. It is a lovely wine. It is eminently drinkable and appealing—charming, even. 13.8% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

Gary Walsh - The Wine Front
This is comes from 2001 plantings of MV6 and gets 50% whole bunch and 10% new oak.
Spicy, bunchy, poached strawberry, with some peanuts and a minty autumnal character. It’s bright, medium-bodied, a tangy and mulchy character here, kind of brisk and sappy, with a grainy peppery grip, and a wheatgerm finish of solid length. A little tangy and febrile, but a nice wine all up.

"Proper Pinot fruit flavours, some bunches in there, but nicely done, goes well until a little sharp on the finish."
