Disappointing
"This wine is insipid and overly sweet for my taste and that of those in my household. Definitely did not live up to the hype."
This high-altitude Eden Valley field blend has long been a quiet favourite in the TWC office. Now it’s earned its place on the world stage too, landing a coveted spot in the Top 100 Wines of Australia from UK wine journalist Matthew Jukes.
Aromatic and expressive, it brings together Riesling, Kerner and Gewürztraminer in a way that feels both thoughtful and effortlessly drinkable. Think lifted florals, citrus and spice, a gently oily texture, and layers of flavour that glide across the palate without a hard edge. There’s a subtle Alsatian feel, but with pure Eden Valley freshness.
It’s the kind of white that keeps you going back for another glass. Brilliant with spicy and aromatic Asian dishes, and just as good on its own.
The scores speak clearly - 95 points at the New World Wine Awards, 94 from Wine Orbit and 93 from Dave Brookes. Not bad for what started as our in-house obsession.

"A good wne to try."
"Highly aromatic and geared for spicy Asian foods, this is summer in a glass. Rose petals, lavender, thai basil, meyer lemon. Lifted sugars, well balance by juicy acidity. Lower alcohol. Food wine."
