Some good gear coming out of Kooyong with vintage ’24, namely its range of chardonnay. Pure and precise with a core citrus, ginger spice and subtle oak. The palate builds with fine lees, lithe acidity and excellent length. Everything is in its place, and the wine is balanced and harmonious. Oh, and really yummy, too.

This delivers. It’s powerful, it’s complex and it’s long. It tastes of grapefruit, sweet pear, cedar, milk, flint and meal. It hits up from toad it keeps on hitting, though the finish hones dramatically and well. Beautiful chardonnay. Top class.

Precise and steely aromas of lemon pith, flint, apple blossoms and sourdough bread. The palate is tightly wound, with a medium-bodied mouthfeel, bright acidity and high tension that is built to soften with time in the bottle. Nicely constructed with a nervy edge.
