The 2024 Shiraz was sourced from the Coal Valley, and the wine leads with dark fruit, star anise, exotic spices and a slew of alpine herbs. In the mouth, the wine is ripe and complete; the fruit and tannins feel supple and silky, and on balance, this is a very attractive cool-climate Syrah. The tannins have a slink to them. This is fine, not big, yet packed with concentrated fruit flavors. 13% alcohol, sealed under Diam.
