Straw, green colour. White flowers (stone fruit ones, cherry, nectarine blossoms) straw, lemon pith, wet quartz/stones, nice oak, a lick of white nectarine and cox pippin apple. Palate has a real mineral drive, tight yet still lovely creamy lees component, white flowers, more Cox Pippen, lemon and White nectarine. Incredible balance and a lovely mineral grip and acid line that pulls it all together.

Soil; Clay, mudstone, pink/white quartz, alluvial gravels and loam.

Winemaking; Handpicked 12 th March. Chilled overnight then Bag pressed to tank,
overnight cold settle before racked with fluffies (fine lees) to tank and then French
Hogsheads. Stored in temp controlled barrel hall for cool ferment. 25% New French
and three older French Hogs. SO2 post ferment with 5% Malo (100L from a 300L
Hog) addition. Stirred once.
