A multiregional blend of shiraz from 58/42% Hunter Valley/McLaren Vale, fermented separately and blended after pressing. Maturation in quality barriques for almost two years introduces a gorgeous, subtle, smoky savouriness. The mid-palate offers fabulously supple, velvety-smooth chocolate-coated red fruits and plentiful ripe tannins. Utterly moreish, it strikes a perfect balance between richness and freshness. It's hard to imagine a more serious wine at this price.
