With its seductive bouquet of dark cherry, lavender, nutmeg and wood spice, this medium-bodied, tasty, gently wrought and well-balanced wine will look even better 2–3 years from now.

Campbell Mattinson - The Wine Front

This is still a little ways from release but I’m happy to give an impression here. It’s a meaty barbera with fresh, precocious fruit lifting off. It includes a good lick of velvety tannin and it finishes with a good rip of fruit emphasis too. There isn’t a lot of barbera in the Yarra but on the strength of this, there probably should be. There’s brightness to the fruit and a meatiness about the edges. As a result it has drinkability written all over it.
