Jane Faulkner - Halliday's Wine Companion
Quite shy to reveal its worth but with every swirl, every taste, it just gets better. All the lemony/grapefruit flavours are encased in flavours of creamed honey, nougat, pastry and creamy lees. Super savoury and compelling yet there’s a succulence and terrific acidity driving this while keeping it very fresh. Delicious now, alas, not much made – 55 dozen all up.
