“You don’t make wine in Oslavia Joe, don’t try to copy them” (Joe Holyman, March 2023) This year’s version is predominately Pinot Gris, with a little bit of Friulano and Pinot Noir. Destemmed and fermented on skins like all our Pinot Noir wines. It was on skins for 5 weeks before being pressed to old puncheons before being bottled unfined and unfiltered without any additions. There’s some blood orange and musk sticks on the nose. The musk follows on the palate and there is some juicy strawberry flavours too. It finishes with a waft of tannin to refresh your palate. Drink it cold, and drink it fast! – Lou & Joe Holyman This is the latest edition of Joe & Lou’s quirky ‘No Clothes’ range. In case you’re wondering what the naked man is doing on the label, it’s the Holyman’s way of referring to a naked wine…No SO2, no herbicides and pesticides, no adds, just a clean, great drinking wine.

Our local grower who also grows the Gris has a small plot of Friulano which we have bought the last couple of years. This year we decided to put it all together, with a splash of Pinot and co-ferment them on skins.
