Bright, juicy and bold, plenty of intense red berry fruit, black cherry, dried herbs and bacon fat, plus a touch of florals. Ripe, juicy palate with good tannin structure, decent length and freshness. This is a big mouthful of wine but seamless with it. All estate grown from largely ungrafted vines over 30 years old. 40% whole bunch, 30% new French oak for 15 months.

The 2023 Pinot Noir leads with black cherry, poached strawberry, blood orange and cracked coffee beans. In the mouth, the wine is lean and savory, with notes of forest floor, dried herbs and tapenade. It's light in intensity and body but pretty and detailed too. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
