Sourced from the Zerk vineyard in Lyndoch; 30% whole cluster. Fragrant and bouncy fruits on the nose, red cherry and plum, redcurrant and cranberries. Hints of gingerbread, fine spice, cola, citrus blossom, red lollies and earth. Vibrant, pure and bouncy on the palate with lovely spiced red fruits and amaro tones. Great, energetic drinking. Drink 2024-2032.

Planted 1961 & Circa 1890. Gets 30% whole bunch and older oak puncheons. Here’s a bright and spicy iteration of this wine, and very good it is too. Raspberry, cherry, dried herbs, a spicy red pepper thing and aniseed, and some dried flower perfume. It’s medium-bodied, has crunch and juiciness, a light lick of dusty tannin on a finish of good length. It’s stylish, and it has energy.
