Dijon clones 95 and 76; hand picked and partially whole-bunch pressed, wild-yeast fermented in French hogsheads and puncheons (30% new) and matured for 10 months, then the finest barrels chosen for this wine. A classic white peach, pink grapefruit flavour, the palate long and racy.

Wine Pilot

Following the highly rewarded 2021 vintage of this same wine, from a cool season this iteration is still youthful and tight, colour barely past clear with a coiled energy waiting to be revealed over the next few years. While its white stone fruit flavours remain a touch veiled at the moment (December 2023), the citrus notes are more obvious though you can still sense the presence of cream bun deeper down. And again the estate provenance element of a subtle bitter lemon flavour is in play. Plenty to look forward to in this wine.

Gary Walsh - The Wine Front

Lime and citrus, a little spicy oak, almond too. Balanced, flavoursome, ripe lime and flinty texture, with a good saline finish. Tasty wine all up. Very good. A bit of a margarita thing happening, which is nice.
