Tasted alongside the 2018, which confirms my opinion of 2018 being a better red vintage than 2017. Blackcurrant, plum, coffee bean, mint and tobacco. It’s medium-bodied, dark chocolate and black olive, black fruits, slightly tangy in acidity and angular, not quite the oomph in mid-palate,  but lovely flavour, light grainy tannin, and a savoury finish of solid length. Has a nice sort of personality and character about it. Stylish.
