2022 Domaine Adrien Berlioz Savoie Chignin Bergeron 'Euphrasie' white

About the wine: This wine is made from 30 year old vines, lieu dit “Grand Buisson” in the town of Arbin, on a terroir of clay and limestone. The vineyard faces south-east on a 40% gradient, and is planted to a high density of 8000 vines per hectare. The grapes are harvested by hand and transported in small boxes to ensure they arrive in optimal quality. In the winery, the grapes are then directly pressed, and vinified by gravity before natural fermentation and winemaking techniques are used to complete the wine. The wine is then aged in 50% acacia barrels and 50% oak barrels with an annual production of just 2,000 bottles.
