Graceful and irresistible, the wine shows blackcurrant, dried herb, violet, subtle spice and hazelnut aromas on the nose. The palate offers terrific weight and depth, splendidly complemented by succulent fruit intensity and finely textured mouthfeel. Sturdy and sophisticated at the same time with a persistent, engaging finish.

Ken Gargett - Winepilot

Margaret River Cabernet has established itself as not just one of this country’s great red wine styles, but as a world star. The colour here is an opaque maroon, still youthful of course, with a nose of cassis, florals, chocolate, blackcurrants, spices, beef stock and coffee beans. There is good integration of oak here. The wine exhibits a touch of the ethereal, which is most appealing. Good focus, decent length and sleek tannins, we can expect this to continue to improve over the next eight to ten years.

The rich mix of dark plum and blackcurrant is immediately evident on the nose. The palate delivers on that early promise with deep dark flavours, a little graphite edginess and a little oyster shell minerality. It’s a vibrant and slightly spicy wine with energy driving through to the long finish.

A well-made, balanced and serious cabernet sauvignon with aromas of blackberries, baked plums, dried herbs and baking spices. It’s medium-bodied with sinewy tannins. Solid and focused, with a flavorful finish of excellent length.

Excellent dark purple hue; very youthful and still a tad raw, time should help, now it’s rich and ripe flush with mulberries and cranberries, Moroccan mint and chocolate. Full bodied and laden with tannins and somewhat drying on the finish. In between, pops of sweet fruit appear.
