This wine shows aromas of citrus, blood oranges, rosemary, subtle sweet spices and cinnamon. Lightly framed tannins with an almost silky texture, crisp acidity and a tight yet precise, youthful finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2026.

The 2022 Barbaresco Montersino is a bold, powerful wine. Spice, dried herbs, mint and crushed red berry fruits are all amplified. The Montersino here is usually a more delicate Barbaresco. The 2022, on the other hand, is on the assertive side. The tannins are a bit aggressive in the early going, so some cellaring is advisable.
