This wine is all about delicate black and red fruits, a sprinkle of spice, and floral notes, all tied together with a fine structure. After 15 months in French oak, it’s drinking beautifully now but will only get better with time in the cellar.

With nearly 30 years of winemaking under their belt, Pepper Tree knows how to showcase the best of their premium vineyard sites across Australia, and this Coonawarra Cabernet is definitely no exception.

"It may yet be just too young but for me the winemaking skill is not there, nor the typical Coonawarra cab style and depth. I checked the label to see if not was in fact from the Coonawarra. I’ll try another in a year or so, perhaps it will have improved then, but in no hurry to open another just now."
