It's 2021, and it's still a puppy. The fruit makes a bold statement, yet it doesn't throw a cross at your face. An all-black and blue fruit and all spices, the nose reveals a bit more at every swirl. The tannins, oh, the tannins. Robust, persistent, consistent, with that lovely bitter tang indicating that those are natural tannins, no artifacts here, only the raw material. The palate is full of fruit, structure, and character. That fruit and those tannins keep on going, donating this wine persistence and, undoubtedly, longevity. Drink: now- 2040.
