Bright ruby red. On the nose it is ample, with notes of ripe red fruit that blend well with notes of licorice and spices. The taste is robust and full-bodied thanks to well-present tannins that blend well with the structure of the product. Its peculiar acidity, well balanced, increases its freshness and the finish in the mouth. It is recommended to decant the product 30 minutes before tasting it

A bold and expressive red blend of 50% Montepulciano and 35% Cesanese, sourced from the rolling hills of Zagarolo (RM) at 350m altitude. The vineyards enjoy a classic Mediterranean climate, with warm, breezy summers and mild winters, ensuring optimal ripening conditions.

Grown in tuffaceous soils, the vines are trained using the Guyot system, yielding approximately 7,000 kg per hectare.

Carefully vinified, the grapes undergo thermovinification at a controlled temperature, with 20 days of skin contact to enhance depth and structure. Regular punching down and pumping over ensure rich extraction of colour and tannins.

The wine is then aged for 6 months in new 500L oak tonneaux, with weekly bâtonnage, adding texture and complexity. The result? A refined, characterful wine with depth, elegance, and a true sense of place.
