Tasting Notes

Aromatics: On the nose, it shows notes of ripe lemon, pear as well as quince. Subtle toasted notes from the ageing in barrel great complexity for this Bourgogne Cote d’Or that should have been classified as Santenay blanc without the vineyard owner at the time (who was also Santenay’s butcher) more involve in doing the paper work. Palate: This is a magnificent wine, again with Bonnardot there is incredible value here, this wine is racy and show the finesse of great Burgundy white. Beautiful balanced texture, good length and lovely purity. Tension and salty finish to conclude, a must try.
