The 2020 Barolo del Comune di La Morra is a terrific wine in its peer group. Dense, generous and inviting, the 2020 offers tons of immediacy. Notes of macerated cherry, plum, blood orange, spice and dried rose petal are front and center. This juicy Barolo is a bit of a departure for Ciabot Berton, but that’s not a bad thing.
