Lots of currants and blackberries with violets and dried flowers such as honeysuckle. Medium to full body. Firm and racy tannins, and a long and focused finish. Linear. Black earth undertones. Drink after 2027.

Lots of blackberry and blueberry character with a salty, minerally undertone. Rather spicy with black earth. It’s full and very polished. Really well crafted. Another excellent Puygueraud. Points: 92-93

Small yields here because of the hail in mid April, 15hl/ha, a third of the usual harvest. But what is left behind is so drinkable with such careful placing of the fruit - a good slather of black fruits, extremely fine and harmonious with good pace as it travels through the palate. Excellent; slightly closing in on the finish because of tannic build up.

Succulent yet fresh, with a lovely bite to the perfumed fruit, with clear liquorice and terroir markers. Round, energetic and rich, with great texture and weight on the palate. Elegant and juicy, with a salty stone finish which is still quite highly charged and woody.

Smells like lemon balm, zesty and citrussy. Nice weight in the mouth, appealing straight away with an intensity of citrus fruits, peach, lemon and apricot and grapefruit. Density in the touch of sweetness yet there is acidity too as well as a general clean, clear, stony overall flavour. Still feels a touch closed, not yet showing its all, a bit tight. But I think this will be lovely. Definitely brighter and more lively than some with a clean, slate texture. Easy to enjoy for sure.

Plump apricot and nectarine flesh, stone fruits that are juicy and well defined. Harvest began on August 31, which meant all the white fruit was in before the heat spikes of later in September.
