Very bold, bright, youthful purple colour. The aromas are likewise youthfully fresh and bold, rich and ripe and this is echoed throughout the palate which is bold and bright, concentrated, fleshy and full-throttle. An excellent wine that just needs more time to build more complexity, but it drinks superbly now as well. Sharp value.
