Pale straw with green highlights. The nose opens with lifted aromas of lime blossom, lemon zest and white florals, underpinned by wet slate, subtle spice and a faint savoury, smoky complexity. The palate is finely textured rather than austere, balancing vibrant citrus with layers of preserved lemon, grapefruit pith and mineral notes. Gentle phenolics add grip and structure, while bright natural acidity carries the wine through a long, saline finish. With bottle age, hints of toast, beeswax and dried citrus emerge, adding further complexity without diminishing the wine's freshness. A modern, food-friendly Riesling that combines precision, texture and persistence.

Campbell Mattinson - The Wine Front
Three old vine Eden Valley vineyards, handpicked, a whisper of residual sugar. Soft. Some spritz. Minerally, smoky, almost yeasty. A different expression of Eden Valley riesling in a way and yet there’s a clear, pure, citrussy line, a touch of talc and a general impression of reserve. It’s hard not to become enamoured. Sweetness here is modest at most. Basically it just drinks really well.

Jane Faulkner - Halliday Wine Companion
It takes time to get into this because it's not a classic Eden Valley riesling - whole-bunch pressed after 18 hours on skins. Instead it has a savoury tone, texture and chewy phenolics, a smidge of cinnamon, star anise and glace lemon rind.
2017 - Decanter World Wine Awards
Aromas of green apples, white pepper and hints of petrol and lime citrus. The palate is clean, mineral and rounded. Award: Bronze - DWWA 2017
