"I consider Dan Standish the reigning king of Barossa Shiraz" Joe Czerwinski - Wine Advocate

Dan Standish is a Barossa Valley winemaker who needs little introduction. This 6th generation Barossan winemaker, who cut his teeth at Torbreck, is now making some of the Barossa Valley’s best wines, thanks to not only superb fruit sourcing but also his meticulous and understated winemaking style. His stunning winery follows these same lines of beauty and subtlety.

The Standish Wine company creates just four wines - The Standish, The Relic, The Schubert Theorem and Lamella, almost all Shiraz with just 2% Viognier in The Relic. Each is a single vineyard Barossan selection, with fruit sourced from the Laycock Vineyard in Greenock, the Hongell vineyard in Krondorf, the Schubert vineyard on Roenfeldt Road and the Hutton Vale vineyard in the Eden Valley.
