This beautiful vineyard in the heart of fairytale hamlet La Morra has been run by Alessandro Locatelli since the mid 1980s. Its history, however, stretches back much further to 1841, when Luigi Costamagna was first given permission to sell the wines produced in his vineyard. Since taking charge, Alessandro has upped the quality in the winery, making this one of Barolo’s aziendas to watch. These wines receive consistently impressive scores from the critics, yet remain remarkably good value.
