The Nugan family are the owners and operators of Nugan Estate, with a vision of creating value for money wines of determinable quality. The wines are distributed broadly across the world and have a reputation for their value at price points. The Nugan Estate wines are single vineyard representations of the best sites under the family’s estate. Nugan Estate call the Riverina, in New South Wales, home, with a winery south of Griffith and extensive plantings in the area. Nugan Estate also have vineyards in the King Valley in Victoria, and both McLaren Vale and Coonawarra in South Australia. They currently own approximately 590 hectares of vineyards in Australia. Nugan Estate has four core ranges, the eponymous Nugan Estate and their value range Cookoothama. Nugan Estate also produces wines under the Talinga Park and Wally’s Hut brands for lower entry level wines. The production scale is large, but the quality doesn’t suffer. Though unashamedly modern and utilising the heights of winery technology, the production values aren’t diluted as a sacrifice to the volume.
