Collection: Aquilani

With a wine history dating back more than 4,000 years and a climate ideally suited to viticulture, Italy is one of the most diverse winemaking countries in the world. Aquilani draws from this diversity and produces Italian wines of regionality and authenticity. Showcasing approachable wines ideal for everyday drinking.

Italian wines were conceived to complement Italian food and Aquilani is no exception. From Tuscany, a light-bodied, smooth and fragrant Sangiovese and from Friuli Grave a softly fresh Pinot Grigio with refreshingly clean flavours. Sangiovese is a late-ripening grape that loves some heat, which is why the warm Tuscan sun suits it so well. Friuli Grave owes its name to the gravel in the subsoil, which forces the roots of the vine to grow deep into the earth in search of water. As the vine struggles, its fruit grows richer, resulting in full, well-structured wine with remarkable minerality.
