An impressive Eden Valley-sourced shiraz that shows a deep crimson colour and characters of damson plum, boysenberry and mulberry undercut with layers of fine spice, licorice, purple flowers, choc-berry fruits and lighter wafts of mint and blackberry pastille. Tight, granitic tannins provide support while quartz-like acidity cuts through the intense black fruits as it powers to a lingering finish flush with ripe black fruits and spice. Very nice.

Super vintage in Geographe, which has proved ideal for this famous Spanish variety. Willow Bridge have been making this for some time and it consistently produces a delicious, succulent, juicy style of tempranillo which is very much in line with the wines you might see in the bars in Spain. Bright blackberry juby, raspberry notes and a palate that is plush and juicy, but there's good structural integrity there with chalky tannins and a lick of oak adding the final fling. Very attractive style of wine.
