Sam Kim - Wine Orbit

Attractively fruited and delicately lifted, the bouquet shows ripe apricot, rockmelon, Gala apple, and subtle savoury notes. It's elegantly weighted on the palate, delivering fine texture and juicy acidity, finishing refreshing and lingering.

The name for this vibrant style of Pinot Grigio  is a tribute to the family matriarch, Tarquina, who was affectionately known as Queenie. She hailed from the Fruili region of Italy, a well-known home to the variety. Fermentation was in stainless steel. The colour is barely a touch up from water, so pale is it. Just the merest hint of a lemon/lime hue. The nose gives us very gentle pears and citrus. This is a most elegant, fragrant and subtle style of Pinot Grigio, almost fragile. A supple texture with a fine line of acidity, it will make for attractive early drinking. An enjoyable Pinot Grigio for consuming over the next two to three years. Should be an ideal match for a range of Thai dishes, provided they are not overly spicy.

Gary Walsh - The Wine Front

Invariably a light crisp Italianate style of Grigio from Longview. Green pear, a bit of perfume, some dried herb and almond. It’s crisp and direct, a light grip to texture, with a gently bitter finish of good length. Easy to enjoy.

Mike Bennie - Halliday Wine Companion

A crisp and crackling grigio that does what's expected from an entry level offering. Refreshing, cool, lean, grassy with touches of green pear, green mango, some cucumber notes and a dash of lime. Straightforward, but executes it well.
