Tasting Notes

De Stefani Venezia Rosso is a classic expression of the Piave area, made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grown on mature vines in clay-rich soils. The fruit is allowed to reach full natural ripeness, creating a wine with both generosity and structure. Deep ruby red in colour, it offers ripe red-fruit aromas followed by wild berries and subtle spice. The palate is full and supple, with rounded tannins, good structure and a persistent fruity finish. An extremely versatile Italian red, ideal with pasta and tomato-based dishes, Bolognese-style sauces, beef carpaccio, roasted meats and cured meats.
