Black cherries and blueberries with walnut and lavender undertones. Medium body with very fine tannins that run the length of the wine and caress every inch of your palate. Fresh and vivid. A wine for the cellar, but already fantastic to taste. Best after 2027.

Frescobaldi's Luce is always attention-worthy, and if you couldn't make a good Brunello in 2019 you never will, but the Luce 2019 still managed to drop my jaw. From the comforting whisper of a nose to the cool night air of the palate, an evocative, truly memorable expression.

Dark ruby red. On the nose very expressive of cassis, crushed blueberries, a touch of fine oak, a breath of sealing wax, in the echo fine malty notes. On the palate it is juicy with pithy tannin. Finely textured with beautiful spicy notes, in the echo however a bit harsh; perhaps still youthful..

Brilliant dark ruby red. Very expressive on the nose, with notes of cassis, crushed blueberry, elegant use of oak, a hint of sealing wax, fine malty notes on the finish. Lots of juice and pithy tannins on the palate, spreads decisively over the tongue, with beautiful savoury notes, full-bodied, although the finish is somewhat harsh and still very young.
