Petaluma was founded in 1976 on the simple belief that to make the best wine, you must plant the right grape varieties in the right regions.
This is Petaluma's 'distinguished vineyards' philosophy, first instituted by Brian Croser and built on since by the Petaluma team.
Cabernet from Coonawarra remains a key focus, plus Chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills and Riesling from the Clare Valley. But there is variety here too, including the odd rarity like Coonawarra Nebbiolo (and a great rosé).
